The dedicated cast helmet of Amber Does Dallas! [link]

Made by myself (lights, leather work, and PVC facemask) and fellow cast member/Repo Man, Beau (underlying structure construction).

I won't go into the supplies for this except for one, as its the most common question: The LEDs.

This mask uses a flexible strip of blue LEDs from Wal-Mart's automotive department. Lately these seem to have disappeared, but Auto Zone has begun carrying vastly superior, and brighter, flexible strips of LEDs at a slightly higher price. Check there if you are in need of some.

The LEDs need to be soldered to a proper battery pack. I use 23A, 12V batteries (they look like smaller AAs), which are both quite expensive and harder to find than most batteries, but they are the proper voltage for this type of LED and Radio Shack sells holders for them for 99 cents. You can also pick up a much-needed rocker switch at radio shack which will be needed to replace the crappy "preview" button that comes wired to the LEDs.

Helmet's underlying structure is shown in the link I provided at the top, and it is covered in 4-5oz leather (used because it's cheap, use 2-3oz if you can afford) using wet molding techniques.

Not 100% accurate, but it gets the job done and is sturdy as hell thanks to using a thicker leather than we were supposed to use (it was significantly cheaper).

Out from the night, from the mist, steps the figure.
No one really knows his name for sure.
He stands at six-foot-six, head and shoulders.
Pray he never comes knocking at your door!

Looks awesome, dude. I once tried to make a Repo Man mask using a pair of old ski goggles and dollar store finger lights for the visor... it did not work as planned and I ended up scrapping the idea. I did make myself some replica Zydrate, though.
